Any idea which shaker for an S-code 1969 Mach?
« on: August 24, 2011, 11:47:53 AM »
Looking at a complete Mach, missing the carburetor and shaker only.  I know there were very few 351W shaker cars in 1969, and they are different from the 428CJ pieces...  But what should this 390 car have?

Base is the same as our 428CJ except the base has an additional ring around the top, with the mid-plate on it looks the same. It does NOT look like the 351 base. The snorkle & mid-plate may vary, someone else may know more.

390 has it on special shaker and then there is an early and late version

Good luck with the hunt ;)

So I'd be looking for something similar to a female chicken's teeth if I took this thing on!  It's a late build, June 23rd or so.  Minimal options--PS and a shaker are about it.  Red with white interior/original paint and no rust.  Dead since 1992.
