Amp gauge wire cover

Jeff shows the wire cover for the Amp gauge, "EC1- Amp Meter wire - wrap", changing from spiral, plastic tube, and then to electrical tape.

Assuming I have the order right, do we have a more definitive end date for each?
My car has the plastic tubing and another March car in the unrestored section does as well.

In a perfect world we would have exact change over dates. Sadlly we don't and most likely never will. It would not be out of the ordinary for a March built car had anything other the then the sheath/tube. It would have however be out of the ordinary for the spiral wrap to be in use. The same goes for the tape wrapped. Keep in mind that if you have the amp gauge wire with the tube that the Shelby tail light harness would be the same thing. The same station made up both harness's .

Thanks Bob.
I was thinking a December or earlier might be spiral, but that was just a guess.

Yours would be a good guess based on available information. I hate to put a hard date on something likes this . It is better to be in the best guess category  IMO.  ;D
