Trunk questions ...
« on: May 29, 2011, 07:59:27 PM »
Hello,

These pictures show some kind of foam for the tail light housing. Anyone an idea where to buy this foam ?

Why do cars have the fuel sending wire in the middle and others have this wire on the right side ?

Greets,
Hans

The black sealer around the taillight housing nuts is not foam but a caulk like product to seal the holes from leaking. These are available through AMK. The fuel sending unit wire on single exhaust cars is in the middle and the dual exhaust cars came in on the rt. side. I am guessing this had something to do with the transverse muffler that was mounted in this area on dual exhaust cars??.

I believe all 70's came in the center since transverse muffler dual exhaust wasn't used
