I am looking for the check valves and flare fitting seats. Power disc brake application.

I am wondering how these check valves work, certainly not when applying the brakes. But when the brake is released, I?d think we would not want to restrict or ?check? the returning fluid. Maybe it checks or helps to separate the front from the rear brake circuits???
