'65-'66 Deluxe two-tone interior - paint color on A-pillar
« on: January 30, 2012, 04:51:54 PM »
On a 1st generation car with deluxe two-tone interior (blue/white, ivy green/white, aqua/white, emberglo/parchment), should the A-pillar math the dash pad or the dash face? I've seen it both ways, but think it looks better matching the dash pad.

A-pillar matches the paint on the metal part of the doors.  Blue/white - Blue  ... Ivy Green/white - Ivy Green... etc....

I make notice of the color matching the doors since the dash pad is commonly a darker shade than the color on the doors.

And don't forget to paint that little metal trim piece that hides the pillar trim / headliner joint at the same time.
