1969 Mach 1 detailing information
« on: December 27, 2023, 05:26:26 PM »
I'm helping to restore a 69 Mach 1 Dearborn car currently we're finishing up the undercarriage detailing. Car is a 390 4V 4 speed 3.25 Traction Loc Feb '69 build

*I'm looking for the paint daub/stripe colors for the front coil springs, rear leaf springs and the driveshaft

thx

There may be pictures of an unrestored car in the unrestored car section.

All that is on your build sheet(s) if you have those.

I looked through my collection for Darren and found that I didn't have any matching buildsheets for a 69 4 speed Mach I without AC

Did come up with a set of driveline markings from an export coupe so those should be the same.  LB DB PK  -- Light Blue - Dark Blue - Pink

Could not find a match for the front coil springs since there area a fair number of variations and no real way to measure or find an engineering number

As a fall back on the rear springs I've asked him for the engineering numbers from the rear leaves so we can possibly cross reference the numbers with others possibly found on other cars and find the color codes using that method

we will see where this leads
