There's a lot of discussion about the fog light switch in a separate thread.  Is there one attaching screw or two? And what about the clip behind the switch? Good luck finding all those bits after all these years.

Thanks. While my car was driving when I purchased it and it was pretty intact, some parts were swapped out at some point. Apparently the car was a race car back in the day, so some of the parts went missing, but fortunately a lot of stuff was saved. But sometimes finding a small uncommon part can be a time consuming endeavour as I am sure you know. I am on a constant hunt for parts. The bummer is that sometimes I am ready to install a part or so I think, and then have to stand down until I find a clip or a bolt. While it is a fun process, it definitely slows down my progress rate. I am sure I will build the next one much quicker after having done my first now

Update on the nut and clip I was searching for on the air vent handle/knob. I went to see a friend today who has an original 68 GT 390 and also a bunch of original parts. He happed to have everything I needed and I plan to go back again for more original parts.

Here are the parts in question. Also showing the differences between the 67 version vs the 68 original and repop versions.

Here is what the clip looks like for the 68 air vent handle/knob

68 Reproduction on top, then 68 original, then 67 original.
