I have made the small bracket for the small third return spring for 1966 Mustangs with a manual transmissions. It took me a while to derive a recipe to make, but I do think it turn out well. I'd like $40 which includes shipping to lower 48. Take a look at the images. I included a drawing if you would like to try and make your self. But if you want to save some time, mine is available. These are not reproduced. Please message me if interested.
The Ford MPC shows this part was good from 2-14-66 and on. It is likely in the neighborhood of that date. If your car has the slot just under the master cylinder and has a manual transmission, this part is for you. The production line type spring is also available if needed from several parts vendors. This is needed with either LoPo or HiPo cars, three speed or four speed transmission, Top Loader or Borg Warner.
