Protecting disc brake rotors
« on: November 08, 2021, 12:33:49 PM »
My son's Mach 1 will be arriving at our home here this week. It is 85% completed so is currently a roller. He hasn't finished the front disc brake install because of time and money (he is now enlisted) and we do not yet have our new garage built that could accommodate his car. My question is in regards to the disc brake rotors. They will be in the elements for the time being and I am hoping they will not be super rusty when we go to complete the brakes. Is there anything that can be used as a protectant, that can be later removed so as not to contaminate the pads?
