Recommendations for PS lines
« on: June 12, 2011, 10:46:02 PM »
Looks like I need to get some nice looking reproduction PS lines. Looks important but fit even mire so. Saw the lines on Mansfield site but what else is out there? These would be for a 68 FE.

www.bluedotspecialties.com are the most exact reproduction on the market. I think NPD sells them too. I haven't looked on Mansfield site to see if that is what he has . I would be surprised if he didn't carry them because of the other high quality items he handles. They have made both the upper and lower pressure and the return line for your 68 FE. They also have the 2 short slave cylinder hoses as well. All of the cheaper repros don't hold a candle to these appearance wise.Bob

The lines from Blue Dot are very nice, I believe the only detail they lack is the Ford logo (FOMOCO).  They have the part number but I believe originals have a logo.

Thanks for the info guys. I looked over a box of hoses I had and found 2 pairs of short valve to slave cylinder hoses all with C6 part numbers. One longer pump hose with a C8Z? Number. They short hoses I'm using are NOS which I bought in the mid 80's from ford. The info provided will be very helpful.
