Yes, that bracket was noted and I was aware of it before judging, just didn't have time to fix it. I have that bracket now. I have seen a fuel line that goes behind the distributor, like the one I have, and I think the one Brant sells goes in front, which is what it says in the judging sheets it should be, so think I will get that one.  If you have any pictures of one from a June build, let me know. I have seen some non-K codes, so not sure about using that.  I notice the '65 GT350s have a fuel line that looks like the one Brant is selling at Branda, but they have Holleys, so not sure if that would work for an Autolite carb.

I'll look. Would not compare to 65 Shelby's for a number of reasons. One being that even the first engines were built well after your cars engine was built

Here's a picture of Brant's same date 1964 1/2 K code that seems to show the fuel line he is selling that I have ordered......
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

By same day do you mean some assembly date on the engine or something like the date guess by Dearborn that the car would be completed on?

Door tag date.  I don't know what date the engine assembly is, it doesn't say. The blog thread:

Yup. That's Charlie's "day one" K Mustang. Important door data tag stuff: color 3 = poppy red: interior 86 = black on black; (scheduled) build date 08F = June 8, 1964; DSO 71 = Los Angles; axle ratio 8 = 3.89:1.

Very much like mine, same build date and DSO and rear end. But I guess all K codes got that rear end ratio.  Mine was sold at Cutter Ford.
