Topic: AM Dash Speaker 1968 San Jose with 8 track

I have an AM Dash Speaker with 8 track. Pretty sure I have the wrong speaker. Wondering if it is possible to get s decent reproduction speaker or good used core. I searched the website to confirm, but did not see one like mine or get verification of what a 68 dash speaker should look like.

Was the 8-track a mono unit for '68?  Previous years it was a stereo unit with door speakers.

It was that in 1968 as well. There would not be a dash speaker at all.

Interesting. I was told that there was a dash speaker for the AM radio and the door speaker for the 8 track. Can't recall where I got that info from

Yes 8 track goes through the stereo door speakers, but dash speaker looks wrong compared to other I have seen
