I'm thinking to install a rear glas window.

Now I found the following hint @ suppliers.

Warning: Must unzip glas (GL304) before lowring top. Deep Well Liner is required with GL304 folding glass window.

Deep Well Liner is clear so far.

However, what about to unzip?

Does it mean every time I lower the top I need to unzip the zipper completly?
If yes, how to handle the glas while doing this?

Is there a video or are there some pics availlable to have a better view on this procedure?

You can lower without unzipping but you run the risk of splitting the silicone seal between the upper and lower halves of glass. Yes unzip and allow the glass to lay down into the well liner. The glass does not come completely out when unzipped.

To unzip when the top is still closed or like half way open?

And the other way around?

Means to close the top e.g. half way and than to re-zip the glas, or to close the top completely and than to zip the glas window?

It's harder to zip and unzip with the top all the way up and clamped.  I usually unclamp and open it a bit (I have hydraulic top) to unzip.  Then do the reverse when putting the top up.

Back in the day, the seams were not as good as today.   If you have a newer top, you may get by if you only do it occasionally.  However, if you do it a lot, unzip.

+1 take tension off of zipper before unzipping or zipping. I have had too many silicone seams let loose so out of an abundance of caution always unzip prior to putting top down .

Unlatch the top and toggle the switch to move the top up just a bit and then unzip the rear window.
