Difference in Owner?s Manual Cover 64,5 and 65
« on: March 13, 2024, 11:07:50 AM »
Hello,

Who can help me and tell, why and when the second and third picture of the 64,5 owners manual cover where changed/switched?

Thank you
Thorsten

The 64.5 manuals have the generator engine info, like for 170/260's.

Thank you Charles.

Because of the chances, there are many differences inside the manual. What I am looking for are informations about why the last two cover pictures where changed/switched an at what version this has happened

I've wondered the same thing but not sure if anyone knows for sure.  The colors are a little different on the early manuals also.  If I had to guess, I'd say it was for dealers to have a quick way to distinguish between the early and late manuals.

I vaguely remember, from years back, that the difference in booklet covers was the key in years. That may have been part of an article in Mustang Monthly.
