69/70 similarities
« on: January 08, 2023, 03:15:41 AM »
Hi All,
A few Questions

Did the 70 come with an 8 track radio?
Are the rear spoilers the same for 69/70?

Clock in mint condition resstored at $150 - is that reasonable?

Thanks

Yes, an AM/8 track was an option
No, 69 rear spoilers are a lot lighter, rarer, and tend to sag in the middle
If the clock was restored and working, not a bad price. The second hand moves differently on a quartz conversion but they are way more accurate and reliable

hope this helps, John

Also the 69 spoiler used different stands/mounts to attach it to the trunk lid as well as different hardware and gaskets. There is at least one thread that covers those details on this site.
