67 v. 68 interior rear quarter fiberglass panels

Larry Z. just finished my interior rear fiberglass panels and sent me a pic. They look fantastic.
The conversation turned to a set of panels he has and he noted that his has notches molded into both sides where the seat rests when folded flat.
Mine are on only the passenger side.

I've never noticed this before, so he rattled off the numbers on one of his which were:
C7zb-6331486-bw
C8zb-6331486-aw
so his have both years molded into the back.

Mine are
c7zb-6331070-bw
c7zb-6331486-bw
and
c7zb-6331071-bw
c7zb-6331487-bw

I gather mine are correct . . .

Ford used different part numbers to represent different stages of that parts process, in this case a fiberglass forming number and a finished item number. The C7ZB-6331486-BW (and 487-BW) are the finished item numbers, which are called out on the assembly drawings (with an appropriate painted finish designation). The C7AB-6331070-BW may be the "as formed", "pre-holes drilled" version. Instead of a paper tag to identify each, both numbers were embossed into the part.
Note: For 67 service, the MPC calls out a C7ZZ- and a C8ZZ- part number for RH/LH panels. For 68 service, both sides are C8ZZ-.

Yeah, I get that.

But out in the field is the single sided passenger-only notch version correct (for most of the year) and that the notches being on both sides is predominately 68?

On edit -- add a pic with the "notch" in the center of the pic.

Looking at my pictures yes the addition of the clearance "notch" on the drivers side was an addition made for 68 production fastbacks

Just a reminder there were two versions of the 67 panels with-out and the later with the cut out around the fold down latch/non-fold down upper seat support
