Was the paint applied to the ball joint threaded sections applied with a brush, spray or dipped?

OK, from the top - year, (model), (date), engine and plant.
Sloppily, with a brush.

Brush before they were attached to the a arm so a fair amount of paint would be knocked off the threaded surface when the nut was installed on an original

Thanks, that what I figured.   Is there a preferred paint to use?

No any school bus strong yellow will work. Likely would choose a typical favorite enamel or a small Rustoleum If you have a typical car and especially a PS one you will use a fair amount of paint  so that is the reason I'm not suggesting the small hobby bottles

I?ll grab a can of rustoleum tomorrow.  It?s a PS car, so pretty much everything gets some yellow it seems.
