The C8ZF unit would only be accurate with a 16 gallon 1968 tank. Won?t work with a ?69 tank which would be the one originally used on a 1669 -70 Shelby.

Have seen many 69 service replacement nos gas senders with the paper tag c9wf but they still have  the original fomoco stamped in the metal so wonder why ford quit stamping the c9wf but still stamped the fomoco in the metal since they are a 1 year only sender.

Likely just a different supplier in the later decades Don't think it was Ford stamping these but the supplier - outside company that got the contract
