What is the expected finish on front and rear splash shields used on San Jose built Mustangs in March of 66?

Semi-gloss black.  The shields were originally zinc plated before paint.

It would from the forward/wheel side. Showed the rear side of the panel since the color would be clearer The sound deadener would have been added when the front wheel well was coated in some areas near the end of assembly
