Hi All,
payed a visit to Matt Highley at Fox Mustang Restoration in Locust, NC yesterday. Great guy and we had many and long discussions about the Fox Mustang and SVO's. He gave me a tour of his facility, showed me some of the great products they sell and I also raided his NOS parts stash which was nice:)
I've done business with him several times and can't recommend his business enough if your looking for great products and personal, knowledgable service.
Anyway, we got to talking about interior parts and we hit a point of debate on headliner materials. To my understanding, all 84 cars had vinyl headliners and sun visors. I know the later cars had cloth for these parts, not sure if the changeover was 85 or 86, but it was my understanding that all sunroof cars came with vinyl headliners.
Case in point, my 93 LX had a sunroof and that had a vinyl headliner and cloth sun visors.
So, what's the definitive answer?? I know there will always be production line deviations but what is the most likely scenario???
