RH front apron detail - Electrical Junction Block
« on: October 28, 2021, 10:34:41 PM »
Would someone have a picture of the RH apron showing where the convertible fuse able link block would mount. Also was the junction block mounted in the same location on a fastback and convertible? If it matters it is 02646.

Location appears to be dependent on what model or engine was ordered

GT350 & 500

GT500KR. Example junction block is broken as are many originals from likely trying to loosen or tighten the nut

The junction block this car is on the shock tower side of the solenoid. It is a convertible. I am looking for where the fuse able link block would mount. My front RH apron was replaced and the fuse able link was not mounted.

Thank for your help.

I was looking through some old pictures of a inspection I did some time ago and found the picture that I needed. That location agrees with what I found in the assembly manual.

I am still wondering why the junction block was mounted on different sides of the solenoid on some cars.

On a KR the starter delay (not used on other models) is attached in that general area - sort of in the end of the long snorkel - so they needed to move the junction block

Thank makes sense. I wonder if it was a mistake made on this car to mount to the right of the solenoid .
