Help identifying tie rods
« on: December 15, 2021, 10:07:54 AM »
I've been searching the forum and haven't seen tie rods like what I took off mine. These are original as far back as 1974. There are no zerk fittings, so I thought they were original from the factory, but what I don't see anywhere else is the plastic and metal spring. Two of the ends have the plastic piece and two don't. My guess is that the two where they are missing is that they broke off? Also, there are no metal ring on the boots, so probably not original from the factory.
Anyone see this before?

Haven't seen that style before, most likely early aftermarket replacements.
