Topic: Interior Code 27?

Question on Facebook came up what interior code 27 looks like. Says it is aqua interior but I have not seen it and I don?t see it available for purchase in vendor catalogs. Does this interior actually exist and is there a photo of it?

I was part of the discussion mentioned. We were referring to the '65 model year. A member of another forum asked if anybody had ever seen a '65 with a standard solid color aqua colored vinyl interior. It is listed in some decoder lists as interior color 27.  We have all seen the 2 tone aqua/white deluxe Pony vinyl, interior 67, I have one, but the OP was asking about solid color aqua. Did I muddy that up, or is that clear? Hah.

The OP showed one he has from California Mustang Sales& Parts from years ago. And one online from Classic Pony Cars. Dubious resources maybe?

Took the easier, slightly less time consuming than going through the picture collection, route and scammed through the Jim's (Smart & Haskell) Musatng Production Guide to see if anyone in that survey reported or the data collected by them had any cars identified with the "27" interior code. As expected it was likely, since this does not include all cars built,  very unpopular choice for new cars owners.

Bottom line is that in that survey there were two cars that I could see that were reported to have that interior code. Both Dearborn cars
