What color seatbelts should I have ?

I have a 67 with standard 2 tone Aqua interior.  Should the seatbelts be dark aqua, light aqua or black?

If your interior code is 2K, the belts should be dark aqua per "How To Restore Your Mustang" by Larry Dobbs and Donald Farr. The reference in this case says the belts are the same shade as the carpet. There is a code 2K1, but I don't know what its differences are.

Yes my interior code is 2K. This is great pretty sure I have are dark aqua belts in the car.

A few (not the greatest) pictures of originals. Appears to me that these are closer to the color of the painted panels. Hope it helps

Mine are the standard and much darker than the pictures.  I'll try cleaning and see if they get near the color shown
