1969 390 or Boss 302 Air Cleaner base and snorkel

 I recently picked up this 1969 air cleaner base and snorkel which looks to be original. Being that the snorkel has the reducer it would not have come on a 428CJ non-ram air but would be correct for a 390 or Boss 302. Is it possible to determined which engine it actually came off of? I noticed the base does not have any drain holes in the bottom. I have seen others with drain holes (see last picture I pulled from eBay) and wonder if this is an early vs late thing or something that was done depending on engine? Was the snorkel or base date stamped somewhere?
