The good tie rod boots sold at NPD are from Scott Fuller.  You can also order them directly from him.  I think the price is about the same from both places.

Thank you goes out to NPD. They sent me 4 new boots no questions asked.  But these are pretty hard... not as flexible as I'd think they should be.  Any thoughts? Thank you again to NPD for sending me boots.

My thoughts are if it is a Scott Fuller part then use it with full confidence.

Set them in the sun for a little while and they will likely flex more for the installation. Warm water bath works during the cold part of the year if its a concern

That's curious then.  The first ones I got must have been Scott Fuller but are definitely cracking.  I'm going to hold off on replacing them until August just before I go to Melbourne for the MCA show.

I know NPD in the past carried a lower priced alternative to the Scott Fuller boots so the cracked ones might not be his.
