Concours Correct filler neck hose
« on: August 27, 2021, 05:29:35 PM »
Hi,
For my 7th of April 1964 Convertible D-Code I need some help to be concours correct.
Due to available ?Autolite-marked? filler neck hoses, I?d like to ask for the concours correct hose. Is it really the one with the Autolite Logo and Stripes from Scott Drake (C4GY-9047-AL Fuel Filler Hose 1964-1967 Ford Mustang)?
I've been told that I shoud use the "usual" C4GY-9047-A. style wrapped texture rubber w/o Logo with the crimp Style clamp (Clamps already there).
But there is one more possible style: All Straight Rubber. I would be grateful for any suggestion.
Who can provide some pics of Original condition?
Regards,
Bernd

Welcome to the site. Hopefully you will find the support and information your looking for related to restoring these great cars

As for pictures and information. Always start with the search feature. Over a decade of discussions and postings. Try a number of word combinations. Then  also check the section of the site labeled Unrestored Picture Threads

Believe you will find that the original had no logo on that item and the exterior texture and look is what to go by.

Will now move your thread to the appropriate location so we keep things neat and easier to find
