Topic: 67 Glove Box Lens

Hello to All,

I've tried and tried to get an answer on this before I came to you guys to give me some guidance. Is the inside of the glove box lens for a 67 decor group fastback, dome shaped or flat that fits in the circular hole?

There is NO LENS on the glove compartment hole for the optional lamp. The hole is present for all models (with or without the Courtesy lamp option) but none received a lens.
There is a domed lens inside the CONSOLE compartment.

So just leave it bare? No lens, nothing?  Interesting.  Many companies call it a dome lens for a glove compartment.  One of the reasons I didn't get a solid answer until now from you.

I looked through NPD and see your problem.
They call it a "Glove Box Light" but if you look at the fitment it says:

 1967-1968 MUSTANG W/ FLOOR CONSOLE

1967-1968 COUGAR W/ FLOOR CONSOLE, EXCL XR-7

1964-1965 FALCON GLOVE BOX

On a 67 it  goes into the console and not in what we think of as the glove box.

Nothing goes into the hole in the glove box.

The glove box light is part of the Courtesy light group and includes the glove box light, underhood light, trunk light and on hardtops includes underdash and courtesy light.
It is not a part of the interior decor option.
