rocker areas under the Mach molding. Jeff mentioned using a semi gloss black brush-on paint. Preferences? Success stories?

What Im asking is what paint product has been tried by those who have re-applied the black out paint on the rockers and tail light panel? Thank you for your replies.

I can't answer the question specifically since I've never owned or built a 70 Mach. One would think that that same or similar paint used for the pinch weld black out and other black out (such as headlight buckets in 69-70) would serve for this purpose.

Thats my intention. Im trying to avoid using an incompatible paint over the urethane that has just been applied on the exterior. Im searching for a urethane blackout paint or maybe an enamel. Hopefully my research will not let me down.

I will report my choice and the results for the benefits of others.
