Topic: Door window adjustment recommendations

I am trying to adjust the door windows of my 1967 Shelby.  The doors are gapped well, and the window looks well centered when all the way up.  The problem I am having is the windows seem very difficult to raise and lower and I am not successful with the adjustments I have tried.  The regulator is new, and all internals have been well cleaned and restored.  In addition the driver door outer rubber seal(Repop) does not stay in place when lowering the window, appearing to separate from the door and bind against the window.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have not had good luck with the reproduction window seals NOS are much better.
Did you flatten the metal around the slot where the seal clips in? It gets bent removing the old weather strip.

Thank you for the reply.  If this is the best of the aftermarkets I think there is room for improvement.  Also thank you for the reminder, I had checked prior to installation and all insert holes were straight.  I have one adjusted so it doesn't pull off anymore when opening, but the driver side continues to be stubborn.

I had a similar issue with one door's outer belt line weatherstripping (not snapping into place and staying). Assemblyline door (all straightened correctly in the slots) and a NOS Service Part.
Once it pulled loose after raising and lowering the glass a few times (while fine-tuning the glass adjustments), I had to reach around the back of the window & regulator with a hook tool in hand and depress the several fasteners that actually HAD engaged into the slots properly (of the door).
This is not an easy task for most of us full-sized people!
With the weatherstripping fully removed again, I diagnosed the issues with the clip-fasters (were mis-shaped on the few that wouldn't stay engaged)...I carefully re-tweeked them to snap in correctly and re-installed the same weatherstrip.
I ASSUMED a New, un-used Ford Service Part wouldn't have had such an issue but there I was, doing the impossible (again).
