Along the intersection of the floor pan to rocker, is body sealant correct for a Dec 1966 SJ?  Refer to picture. Thanks, John

I found a black sealer, about the same size application as yours, on my late 65 Dearborn convertible.  It was still somewhat pliable when I removed it and looked like it was applied with a wand or gun.

Typical and IMHO expected is a thin bead of black sealant applied along the floor pan to rocker seam. It was applied with a chalking gun by some tool then spread with a brush or rag dipped in solvent

I dries with age and often just falls off in sections over the years

Hope this helps

68 NJ cars had it like you describe, between the floor and rocker and partial around the torque boxes. It also was brushed around seat belt anchors, along the bottom of trunk drops and on the back of valance above tips on dual exhaust cars

Tim  - outer rear seat belt anchors too on 68?

Hello,
saw this photos and make me think if sealer from floor to rocker is brushed like this one...my car is early 65FB Metuchen.
This undercariage seems mostly original from factory at least on this point.
Thanks
