At this point I am still using the original under hood harness. The oil pressure sender wire at the DS front of the block runs through a small bracket at the valve cover bolt and laps down about 4" to the connector.
The repro insulated wire I have that completes the run to the oil pressure sender is very long. At this point I have lapped the extra run to lay on top of the timing cover, and it turns back right about at the distributor bolt.
This does not look right to me. This run of wire has to snake around both the PS and AC brackets too.
Shortening the repro wire does not look simple-I am not sure i can push the woven insulation back over the sender end far enough to reconnect the spade connector.
