Topic: Passing of Chris Brown -(Browns auto body services)

Just found out that Chris passed away of an apparent heart attack in his sleep at the age 53. He went by the screen name cbrown here on this site

If you have ever met Chris you would not forget him. Always colorful and always a driven hard worker. In recent years he had branched out the body shop biz to include great reproduction of hard to find parts. For a reminder many of you have seen him offering the fan clutches, assembly line air filters and many other parts and expanding all the time.

He will be missed as a friend, family man, business man and hobbyist. Those that have met and knew him are better for it.

Chris was a out standing contributor to our community . He was always upbeat. Those of us who knew him are better for it. He will be sorely missed . Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Chris.

 Chris brown  died of a heart attack sunday and he owned Browns auto body and made many concours parts and did many restorations. Funeral services will be friday at his shop.

I purchased several things from Chris and his passion for the hobby was clear. I wanted to stop by his shop and meet him. RIP.

Chris was a great guy and a true friend of the Mustang and Shelby community.  When I lived in the STL area and was a member of the Show-Me-Mustang Club i got to know Chris and just how special he was and how he appreciated all Mustangs.  When it was time for a repaint on my 65 K code, Chris and his son Hunter did it and it was done with the same care as he did on one of his beloved Shelbys.  Just wish I was still in the area to attend the funeral tomorrow.  Chris will be remembered often and missed always.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
