Topic: C6 intake on a 65 A code?

I was looking at a 65 A code coupe for a friend It was a May/June SJ car. Was this correct or added by someone?
Also was there a left side remote mirror with the control low on the door panel? I see a repro version now.

Possible, but not probable. Check the engine assembly date (see picture). That may give more info about the manifold.

Yes, some late 65's had that.  Check the date casting.

My mid. June built k- Code has a C6 intake , the casting date is 5E12, If I remember correctly the intakes for late
65 Kars ,will have a C stamped on the machined boss area in front of casting number.

My May 15, 65 A-code SJ GT fastback has a C6 intake on it. I believe that the change over is mentioned in Bob Mannel's book (which I don't have with me right now.) I questioned the same thing when I got my car 15 years ago.

Per Mannel - page 5-17 (5C2 f) and section E-7, notes 9 and 10. I didn't find a specific date.
