Passenger Door Glass adjustment
« on: May 17, 2021, 02:55:04 AM »
Reinstalling my door glass in my 68 fastback and have run into a problem.  Drivers side went back together perfectly but the passenger side not so much. The passenger side door glass comes in contact with the upper rear corner of the drip molding. I have tried many adjustments and can not seem to get it right. Door hinges have new pins and bushings installed as well.  Always had issues with coupe/convertible front to rear window alignment but never had an issue with fastbacks. Has anyone else had this issue and a solution to resolving it?

I had this problem on a 67 fastback and it was the passenger side as well. I think some cars were made a bit out of jig because this car had not been in a collision. Not the best solution but I moved the door ahead just enough to get the window to clear with adjusted as far forward as possible. If there is a better solution I would like to know too.

Thanks for the idea. Not sure what I am going to do.
