70 Mach 1 Exhaust Tip Protrusion
« on: March 18, 2021, 06:00:51 PM »
Can anyone advise what the correct amount of protrusion is for the chrome oval exhaust tips on a 1970 Mach 1, from the top of the rear valance panel notch to the top end of the chrome tip. The Osborne chassis manual defines the clearance between the tip and the valance .380 minimum all round, but no extension amount past the end of the valance. Any help would be great, thanks.

FWIW; I suggest you use the dimples in your tips as a reference.  The dimples should be roughly in line with the lower valance cut outs. Brian
