Topic: Radiator identification

Hi everyone,
I have two radiators in my parts stack that I need help identifying. Thank you for your help.

Here is some background.

I took over all of my late father-in-law's mustang parts and his 67' fastback 390GT.  He also owned a 68' 302 convertible that has been switched from a manual to automatic over the years.  Now I am in the process of sorting through the parts.  Everything that I have read shows that Mustang radiators have a Z in the engineering number and one of these is C7AE.  Is the best way to identify these radiators to measure and compare features?

IIRC, the Z usually signifies a service replacement for the fourth digit, not the part installed on the factory floor.  If the Z is in the third position, it means that it was designed specifically for the Mustang, but could be used by other models.  Most of the Mustang parts that are not sheet metal were designed by other lines, and not necessarily Mustang-specific.  Radiators particularly fall into the latter category.  The MPC (Master Parts Catalog) has a 67 Mustang 390 radiator as C7ZZ-8005-B, but all that shows is the service replacement. 
My other source of documentation also suggests a C7ZZ part number for all of 67.

FWIW, the raw numbers say 1967 full size Ford and 1971 Ford Maverick.

Thank you both for the information.  There are number of parts that I will need to sell after I get my car built and these are some of them.  Midlife, I have it on my list to get in touch with about my wiring harness.  Thanks for the post, it refreshed my memory!
