Stewart Warner Gauges (Repro vs. OEM)

How can you tell the differences if you have a reproduction set of gauges versus an original set....?

Original 1969 gauges are made by Faria. They are in a steel housing and have a separate “cup” for the light socket.

To add the assemblyline gauges have a very dark gray background while later service replacements and repros have a black background. dark gray on the left. They are very close.

question? in my 69 shelby console i bought it had stewart warner gauges, they were a vacuum gauge and a oil pressure gauge, why would these be in there?
