« on: October 01, 2020, 12:38:04 PM »
So..  on my '65 289 AT 2100 2v, can the orange diaphragm be removed and replaced without removing the air horn assy?
Thanks

yes. BUT for optimum performance that orange valve should also be replaced which for me requires top removal.

Okay..  that's what I was afraid of....  I've never done this type of repair and I'm not sure how good my skills are for this type of job.
Thanks

not hard at all to remove. a tip. that valve has an extension that fits thru a small hole. put a drop of wd40 or such to make it slide smoother. pull it thru gently to avoid tears.
