1967 Re-Chromed Original Ford Front and Rear Bumpers

Both bumpers came off a '67 fastback which was sold new and spent it's life in CA. I had both bumpers re-chromed in CA. Both bumpers are now located in MN.

Both bumpers have been wrapped and stored indoors for approx 10yrs.

I ended up using NOS bumpers because I thought the re-chroming came out flawless yet I was after factory appearance.

$300 + shipping for each bumper.  If you buy both and both are paid for and shipped at the same time, then the price shall be $500 + shipping

If you have serious interest, PM me. They're wrapped in an insane amount of packaging cloth and tape. I'm only unwrapping them for a picture if/when there is serious interest in purchasing.

Thanks, stay safe.

I've received many inquiries about these bumpers and therefore am answering questions about date codes here, instead of multiple PMs.

I do not understand the variety of date/plant stampings on bumpers and would love some education. Here's a link to an interesting thread: http://www.concoursmustang.com/forum/index.php?topic=16143.0

The rear bumper for sale appears to be stamped "1  16  M7"

The stamping on the front bumper for sale, which I removed from the same car, is incredibly difficult to read. The following is my best guess at reading it:  "?  M2  63"    (The question mark means I shouldn't venture a guess.... it could be a "1", might be a "7".... not sure).  I'll admit the "63" could be "68".

Many have contacted me with interest and I'm getting in touch with folks in the order they contacted me. They may be sold (pending final decision and payment) and I'll update this post when indeed sold.

I'm attaching more pictures because chrome is very difficult to describe and I want to make sure the buyer can make a good decision.

I looked each bumper over carefully.  I do not see any scratches on the exterior surfaces of either bumper... that doesn't mean the buyer won't find a scratch, it just means I don't see any. I also don't see any dings or other damage. There *are* scratches on the bottom sides of both bumpers.

I don't remember test fitting either bumper, nor do I see any evidence in the chrome from tightening the bolts. I've had these bumpers a long time, so it's possible I just don't remember test fitting them. That said, I don't see obvious markings on them from bolts/washers.

The *back side* of rear bumper appears to either be plated as original, or it's perhaps just a nickel coating, but the re-chromer did not apply new chrome to the back side. It looks just fine to me.

The *back side* of the front bumper has a rust seal paint applied to it. See photo.

Both bumpers have been sold.
