Lets start with the basics. Since much of the rest is over my head :(

What size are the pictures your attempting to upload to your gallery?  Or are you trying to use a link to a service?

I have had no issue before posting from my cell phone.  I tried posting three pictures with a small write-up.

How large (file size) were the pictures? And were you storing them here in your gallery or another site?

I'd be a bit more granular and ask:

Are you trying to upload a picture to the Gallery?
Did that work?
Assuming the pic is in the Gallery, are you trying to link to it in a post?

Are you trying to Attach a picture using the "Attachments and other options button" on the bottom of new or modify post page?

Are you trying to link to a picture on another site? If so, which site?

A yes/no flow chart would be perfect for this!
