Firewall sealant - 68 San Jose

What is the best sealant to use on the firewall around the heater motor and brake booster. Would spectrum sprayed?

As posted in other threads others have sprayed it with success. Not sure if that is the best product for the application since I would think that it was apply too much product and not replicate the original finish.
