Tubular braces on convertible

My convertible is a May 1965 Dearborn build that has two original three foot long tubular braces.  I've searched on-line and have found nothing about correct mounting, and have seen pictures of different kinds of mounting.  I want to make my rebuild as correct as possible.  I mounted the curved end up and on top of the cowl with the single flat brace under the cowl, with a single bolt.  The other (flat) end of that brace is mounted on top of the side bracket bolted onto the engine bay at the fender wall.  Can anyone tell me if this is correct, and, if not, which is the correct way?  Or does it matter?  Thanks.

The convertible brace is also shown in the "65 Mustang Body Assembly Manual" (AM0006, pg 9) as items 19, 20 and AB. This is documented as a drawing change notice dated in January 6, 1965, after the TSB was issued.

Thanks for the quick replies and the link with photo.  Based on that photo my mounting is correct.  Great, because I hate to have to keep changing things like that because it usually messes up the paint on one end or the other.
