Water Pump
« on: June 01, 2020, 10:36:46 PM »
Good Evening,

I have a Dearborn June 12, 1969 Shelby with 351W engine. Should the original water pump casting number start with C90 meaning they casted the pump in 19969 or is the C80 castings found on 1969 351W's

Thank You,

Don't believe that I have ever seen a C9... small block water pump.
C8.. is what was used on 351W until 1970. Starting in 1970, the outlet changed due to standardizing the radiator to also use with 351C.
I do not know about F code starting in 1970, same?

Your 69 GT350 would most likely have the C80E-J waterpump. The C8OE-D was less prevalent.
