Supplied this information and illustration on another site so figured I would post the same here as a benefit for our members and lurkers

The same markings are used on other 69 and 70 Mustangs with 428CJ engines and 4 speed transmissions

For a 70 Boss 302 the fronts have a white daub on the lower bell and the rears an orange marking on the lower bell also as shown below
