They are reproduced for about $15. Available at the major parts houses

Thank you I bought a pair on EBAY!  :)  It's amazing how involved the rear of the interior is. The last whole sail panel design is so poorly executed by Ford. There had to be an accountant saying "you know how much 4 screws cost?"

Which may be the reason that Ford did not need a "bailout".

Yeah funny about the bail out. The sail panel is indeed a sorry piece of work.  http://anghelrestorations.com/mustang-factoids.html  is another great source of info for your car.  Brian

Here is another rubber piece at that area. I know it’s necessary but don’t have a clue where to find one. I think I can save it though. Wing window post seal.  Almost think it would be good to have a thread on small parts like these.

Brian thanks, Marcus does an outstanding job documenting these models! Thank the lord for people like Marcus, Jeff and Bob Gaines who know the details. Certainly has helped me out immensely.

Are you asking about basic part# 30246?

NPD has them as part number 30246-1

This item caught my eye. I tried to repair this trim piece on a friend's 69 Sportsroof. It was shattered into 3 or 4 pieces. I used a special epoxy I got from Tap Plastics that was formulated to work on formed plastic parts that had a mold release incorporated into the plastic material prior to it being formed. Almost any other epoxy would not stick. I did get it fixed. A few years later, my friends son took out about 75 feet of chain link fence on a frontage road parallel to US 101 with the car.
I think i found the aftermarket piece in the NPD catalog as their stock number 31490-2A. That's for the right hand side. No left side part was listed. Interestingly, only the right hand side is listed in the 75 edition of the MPC, C9ZZ-63311A92-A1A. As there is no 69 Mustang Interior Assembly Manual published, the MPC is the only source of information.
