I think a completely accurate answer would require your build date.

I think that date is right in the range of the changeover from Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 RWL tires that are described as "no size" meaning the F70-14 is black and not white lettered to the "size" version which has the size highlighted in white.  You could probably go either way.

What does your Marti report say?  I think your could have originally had WSW tires rather than RWL tires, though you would still probably want to go with the RWL.

This is from a 2013 post by Bob Perkins and more narrowly defines the timeline for the change from "no size" to "size".

"The Goodyear F70x14 Polyglas was no-size style until Nov.1969 according to Goodyear engineering prints. This is well into the 1970 model year. The earliest No size date I've seen is 3rd week November 1969."

Removed the earlier post since I focused on 69 rather than the year specified in the OP's title  ::)  Too many other questions from other owners created confusion in my head for the moment :(

Fully agree that a Marti report will help here as well provide you with other useful information

At the same time Kevin appears to always (well at least in all the reports I have copies of) on cars with F70x14 or 15 Belted Tires also include the wording "with raised white letters". Not sure if this a default statement or something else.
