Does anyone have a picture of a restored rear end from a 6 cylinder Mustang?  Would like to see what colors it's painted...Thanks

Allen

L. Rear-End Housing: V8 - semi-gloss black finish. 6 cylinder - housing (non-removable cover) all semi-gloss black finish

So no red oxide at all?

After stripping mine carefully I found that the center section was red oxide, while the tubes and back cover plate were semi-gloss black. Don't worry about the tube that is red oxide in the photo, it hadn't been painted yet. I did find some paint daubs over the welds. FYI: This is from a May 1965, Metuchen Coupe.

So, this should be close?  (It's basically what I could tell it was when cleaning).
