« on: December 29, 2010, 12:04:38 PM »
On the big 24" radiator on a 70 mustang does the radiator overflow hose run under or over the radiator top bracket on it's way to the right side od the radiator?

I have seen it both ways....and I think this is a hard question to answer.  I dont know there is an exact rule, but I personally usually route it under the bracket to just help keep it in place.  I cant see anyone saying one way or the other is correct.  People are usually more concerned with the correct radiator cap and radiator.

Checked and agree that its very unlikely for someone to really notice the detail but checking original pictures it appears IMHO that the overflow hose may have been installed before the radiator was installed in the cars and because of that it normally ended up under the upper clamp on the big radiators
