Package tray for 68 Dearborn coupe
« on: December 11, 2019, 01:57:52 PM »
I have a question concerning the package tray for a '68 coupe. Did they all come with screws and insulation/absorber in 68? I'm replacing mine (original) and I don't have either the screws or the insulation on the tray. It's just held in with gravity. The interior assembly manual (page 49) shows the tray, insulation and mentions the adhesive and retainers and clips. My car has the standard interior. Could it be only the deluxe interior cars get the insulation and screws? Should I try and add the insulation and screws to a standard interior car?

IMHO they all had the insulation and retaining clips. The insulation degraded very quickly and fell out. The clips are easily found. I do not think there were any screws used in it.
